Business Analyst – Revenue optimisation / Pricing
Must have :

I'm looking for candidates with airline revenue management domain. So we're looking at business knowledge in airline pricing and revenue optimisation, and origin & destination revenue management.

Please make sure all profiles submitted have minimum 6 years of experience revenue management domain.

Please ensure there is clarity on exact projects and areas of rev mgmt they've worked on. And their CVs are as detailed as they can be when it comes to candidates' business analyst experience within individual projects
To provide a high level of customer service to the Group business units, it is important that Emirates IT retains business and domain expertise in its customer service units. The IT Business Analyst will be a domain expert for the assigned business area and will provide consulting service to the customers and to Emirates IT project teams. Assist Emirates IT project managers as required on projects relevant to the customer unit by, for example, writing specification documents or by providing domain advice for application support and development, manage functional implementation and user training activities etc.
¥ Use domain and applications expertise to recommend initiatives where the clients IT could add value to the Customer business functions, processes and/or applications. Present such initiatives through the Line Manager, for obtaining the decision of the customer business unit.
¥ Analyse, capture and document business objectives and functional requirements and translate them into requirements and solution definition documents as per QMS for system solutions in a comprehensive, meaningful and well structured manner. This includes ensuring that the proposed business solution will deliver the expected benefits. Support the line manager in obtaining business sign-off for the above from the business users.
¥ Provide consultancy and guidance to internal IT project teams ensuring that they are aware of domain issues that could potentially impact their project.
¥ Provide all assistance to the project managers/project teams on application support, impact analysis, functional requirement documentations, user acceptance testing, as assigned.
¥ Carry out functional implementation, support business process studies and conduct user training for power users on application functionality and features for both internal and external customers as appropriate.
¥ Create test packs for application changes, including enhancements and new releases. Carry out functional and integration testing of the same, and obtain user acceptance prior to production roll out. Document training / user manuals as applicable.
¥ Assist line manager in providing support to Sales and Market Development initiatives, such as ? Requests For Proposals ? Application demos, presentations and pre-sales related workshops ? Job Specific Qualification
Degree (12+3), appropriate to the business area, from a recognised college or university. Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years experience in a similar capacity in related Business areas of which at least 3 years should preferably have been in the transportation industry. A proven track record in business system analysis is preferred. Professional Skills: Ä Requirements specifications Ä Business analysis. Ä Business Domain Knowledge.
