Investment Bank is looking for a Senior Security Architect to build a new Platform as a Service (PaaS) across 85% of their business applications
You will be part of the Application and Web Platform team, which is responsible for the strategic server platforms for application hosting workloads including Java, Web, Content Management Systems (CMS), messaging, Business Intelligence (BI), logging, storage and other use cases under the auspices of EaaS.

Key responsibilities:

Leading the security design of the EaaS and PaaS
Understanding the group Information Technology (IT) policy, whilst ensuring you build a PaaS which provides a high level of compliance “out of the box” for its hosted workloads
Working with policy makers to ensure the policy reflects and supports modern PaaS frameworks
Considering design approaches and design solutions for load balancing as a service, firewall automation, access control and identity management within the PaaS
Owning the architecture principles around workload segregation at the network operating system and administration layers
Being a channel into the security organisation and bringing them into overall process
Validating designs with an eye for security design
Managing penetration testing for the platform and potentially hosted workloads
Overseeing the delivery of relevant design documentation to a high standard and maintaining it for the lifecycle of product

Desired Skills and Experience:

Experience of one or more of the following technologies; Docker, OpenShift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Apcera, Azure and Mesos (MesoSphere)
Experience of RESTful application programme interface (API) design and use
Experience of logging and analysing technologies, such as Splunk and Squirro
An understanding of cloud native applications and twelve factor application design
Strong technical, architectural and solution design experience
Software development experience
Experience of using both Unix and Microsoft (MS)Windows
Strong integration experience and system development expertise
