A leading Blue Chip Financial Research Firm is searching for a highly motivated and Technical Support Analyst to join their fast growing systems team. The recent graduate will be working for a financial institution where employees are trained and developed into leading system engineers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a vibrant and stimulating company in a diverse infrastructure role.


The role

From day one the successful candidate with be responsible for looking after their systems and responding to alerts including:

·         Monitoring complex in-house systems

·         Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange management

·         Vmware ESX virtual infrastructure

·         Desktop PC upgrades and deployments

·         Software upgrades, including trading and general infra applications

·         Perl scripts and PowerShell cmdlets and automate daily tasks

This is a hands-on technical role with great opportunity for development into a specialist IT Systems role.

This role requires candidates with drive, energy and a passion for technology. The ideal candidate would be a recent graduate or someone with 6-24 months experience within an IT related role. Experience of Windows 7 desktop and Windows 2008 Server, server and Workstation hardware, PowerShell, Perl, backup infrastructure, Linux infrastructure, networking and major desktop applications such as Microsoft Office will all be of benefit, but not essential.

Please note, the successful candidate must be a graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree within a Technology related discipline.
